Aarya finds a mysterious pen that brings her drawings to life. But when she creates something too big, she learns that magic always comes with a price.

Aarya found the pen on her way home from school. It lay in the dust, gleaming under the evening sun. It wasn’t like any pen she had seen before—golden, with strange swirling patterns on its body. Curious, she picked it up and slipped it into her pocket.

That night, as she sat at her small wooden desk, she pulled out the pen and a blank sheet of paper. With a few careful strokes, she sketched a simple flower.

Then, something strange happened.

The paper trembled. The lines glowed for a second, and suddenly, a fresh, fragrant flower lay before her.

Aarya gasped. Her heart pounded. Did she really just… create something?

She picked up the pen again, her hands shaking. This time, she drew an apple. Just as before, the lines shimmered, and an apple appeared on the desk—red, shiny, and real. She took a cautious bite. Sweet and juicy.

Her eyes widened. This was no ordinary pen. It was magic.

The next morning, Aarya rushed outside, clutching her secret treasure. She had to test it again. Sitting under the big banyan tree near her house, she drew a butterfly.

A burst of golden light, and a beautiful blue butterfly flapped its wings before taking off into the sky.

She clapped her hands in delight. She could create anything!

Then an idea struck her. She ran back home and grabbed her schoolbooks. Instead of struggling through her math homework, she simply drew the right answers. The moment they glowed, the solutions filled themselves in.

Aarya grinned. No more homework struggles!

For days, she used the pen to make her life easier. She drew chocolates when she craved sweets, little toys when she was bored. But soon, she wondered—what if she drew something bigger?

One evening, she sketched a bird. Not a tiny one, but a grand, beautiful peacock. The page lit up. A soft rustling filled the air.

Aarya’s breath caught as a dazzling peacock appeared, its feathers shimmering in the sunset light.

But then, something unexpected happened. The pen trembled in her hand. It grew heavier, hotter. Aarya tried to drop it, but it clung to her fingers. The peacock turned its head and spoke in a deep, echoing voice.

“Every gift comes with a price, little one. Are you ready for yours?”

Aarya swallowed hard. She hadn’t thought of that.

And just like that, her magic pen was no longer just a toy—it was a mystery waiting to unfold.

If you had a magic pen that could bring anything to life, what would you draw first—and would you be ready for the consequences?
